Graduation Transitions (4 credits) is a requirement for graduation with the B.C. Ministry of Education. School District No 23 supports student completion of this requirement by having each student create an action plan: My Action Plan = "MAP". Students complete the MAP assignments, and then use those assignments as preparation for a MAP PRESENTATION. The MAP Presentation is a 15 minute discussion involving the student, at least one teacher, and at least one community member. During the presentation, students introduce themselves, discuss their Education, Career & Life Plan along with their self-assessment in relation to the School District No 23 Attributes of a Learner.
