EVALUATION of GRADUATION TRANSITIONS
STEP 1: COMPLETE YOUR MAP ASSIGNMENTS
STEP 2: SHOW US YOUR COMPLETED MAP ASSIGNMENTS
Each gr. 12 student has an appointment with Mr. Meraw or Mrs. Meraw to show their completed MAP assignments. Once your MAP has been approved by Mr. Meraw or Mrs. Meraw, you will be eligible to sign up for your preferred presentation time and teacher. Remember, this is a first come, first served option so the longer students wait to finish their MAPs, the fewer the options will be available on the MAP PRESENTATION Schedule.
STEP 3: COMPLETE YOUR MAP PRESENTATION on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019!!
The presentation itself is a formal style presentation / discussion. You are expected to arrive on time, dressed “interview style”. You will introduce yourself to the panel members (at least one teacher and one community member), shake hands, and then sit down at a table to start your presentation. All presentations begin with a 3~5 minute personal introduction, followed by a discussion of the student's Education, Career & Life Plan and how the student sees themselves relevant to School District No 23's Attributes of a Learner.
The final mark for successful completion of this course is a letter grade of "RM" = "Requirements Met", and does not have a percentage. To view the EVALUATION SHEET which will be used by all panel members at the time of your Exit Interview, click the link below.
